Beware of Scammers On Instagram
Feb 26th 2020
There are fraudulent accounts (@legendsneaksaz) that are posing on Instagram as us by using our name, address, and logo. They are asking users to purchase items through DMs or say you have won a contest to buy a pair of shoes at an unbelievably low price . Several users have been scammed and have been asked to submit money through Cashapp, Zelle, and Apple Pay. We only accept cash, credit, and debit cards for purchases and only sell in store at 6064 N. 16th St in Phoenix or on this website. We DONT have contests or giveaways for crazy prices. Our official IG account is and always has been @legendphx and our website is legendphx.com. We have NO other accounts or store locations!
Scammers unfortunately like to impersonate celebrities, utility companies, IRS, businesses, etc. They take and copy other photos from other websites and official social media accounts to scam users. One easy way to identify a fake account is to look at the number of followers they have and the amount they follow back. If an account follows more people than follow them, that is a red flag. Any legit account will have more people following them than they follow back. Legit stores and accounts won't ever approach you directly to make a purchase. Legit stores also don't use Cash App, Zelle, or Venmo like cash transfer apps. They have credit card processors and take payments using major credit and debit cards on a website or in store. CashApp, ApplePay, and Zelle are meant for transferring money to people you KNOW and TRUST, not to make purchases with businesses.
Please ignore and report any accounts that are posing as us and trying to lure you in to purchase items using any other means other than our official website. Our official email is orders@legendphx.com. Feel free to reach out to us by email, through DMs on instagram at @legendphx, or simply come in store if you have any questions about a suspicious transaction or order.
